LA Food & Hollywood Sign

There are many great places to satisfy your hunger all over LA. Many of them have probably featured on one of the viral Facebook pages or in the gossip rags due to one celebrity or another frequenting it. Good brew, iced tea, gluten free, celeb spotting - LA has it all.

We really loved French bakery La Chouquette which makes delicious gluten free eclairs and other pastries. I can definitely recommend this place.

When you are in LA, you might want to indulge in some celebrity spotting. Or you want to visit some of the places celebrities frequent.

One of popular spots is Alfred Coffee Merlose Place. They serve delicious coffee, (iced) teas and serve food as well if you are after a quick bite. (Apparently Niall Horan, Joe Jonas, Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Roberts and Jennifer Garner have all been spotted here.)

We have decided to treat ourselves to a dinner at The Nice Guy. Their policy is 'no phones/photos inside', but tbh, it is so dark inside you can barely see your plate so there's literally no point of taking photos. Food was quite good but we were not that keen on the cocktails.

Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Drake, One Direction, Kristen Stewart, Zac Efron, Joe Jonas, 5SOS, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Patrick Schwarzenegger are just some of the celebs who dined there.

If you want to dine like the celebs do, do make your reservation far in advance as they do book out. (I wonder why...;))

A popular lunch spot with famous people is also Urth Caffe Melrose. They make delicious fresh and organic brews and food. Another place I can most definitely recommend if you are ever in the city.

Of course we also had to visit the famous Beverly Hills.

It is full of cute little spots that offer perfect photo ops.

We even managed to crash free American Horror Story exhibit at The Paley Centre for Media.

Another must do is Santa Monica which is known for its beach.

I have to say Australia (especially Sydney) spoiled me and I can't say I was really impressed with it. I do recommend a walk down the pier though.

One of the last things we did before we left LA for Vegas was of course visiting the Hollywood sign. There are multiple ways to see the sign. We have taken Uber to 3000 Canyon Lake Drive (Lake Hollywood Park) from where you have a nice and relatively close view of the sign.

With one last thing ticket off our list, it was time to pack our bags and leave for Vegas. And oh boy, was Vegas one of my favourite places ever!

Stay tuned for Vegas adventures.;)
