Instagrammable Food Places in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is without a doubt street photographer's and Instagrammer's dream place. Being the "aesthetic food lover" that I am, I, of course, had to visit 4 of the prettiest food places in the Dutch capital.

1. Polaberry 🍓

Pollabery exploded all over Instagram a few years ago with chocolate-covered strawberry bouquets and unicorn cake pops. This cute store is located in the city centre Jordaan district, just 5 minutes walk away from the Anne Frank House.

Pop inside for the photo opp in front of the flower wall, get something sweet to try and check out merch designed in Polaberry's signature style.

Amsterdam-inspired chocolate bars also make for a perfect souvenir!

Also the staff there is very nice and friendly! When they ran out of white unicorn pops the lady said they can get one done for me if I don't mind waiting a few minutes! 🦄

📍Address: Prinsengracht 232 H, 1016 HE Amsterdam, Netherlands

2. Ree7 🦌

If you (like me) are still not over the crazy freakshakes, then this place is a must visit for you! Located literally just across the canal and less than minutes walk away from Polaberry is located one of the most famous freakshakes place in Amsterdam - Ree7.

Be early or be prepared to wait! This place is extremely popular (brunch) place.

Check out their seasonal offerings!

📍Address: Reestraat 7, 1016 DM Amsterdam, Netherlands

3. Corner Bakery Amsterdam Oud West 💝

Located slightly out of the city centre is another must visit brunch place and one of the cutest cafes in Amsterdam. Its menu includes items like unicorn hot chocolate, red velvet pancakes and freakshakes.

Corner Bakery, the place to be for every foodie, has 2 locations in Amsterdam and one in Maastricht.

All-day breakfast, vegan and gluten-free food available!

📍Address: Jan Pieter Heijestraat 131, 1054 MD Amsterdam, Netherlands

4. Van Wonderen Stroopwafels 🧇

When in Amsterdam, you simply must stop at one of Van Wondern Stroopwafels shops for their king-sized stroopwafels. They are so big that they can barely fit into one hand.

You can choose between different types of fillings from standard caramel to coffee syrup. You can also choose between different toppings like marshmallows, smarties, caramel, white chocolate and more.

📍Address: Leidsestraat 12, 1017 PA Amsterdam, Netherlands
