Kpop Photocard Shopping in Hongdae | Seoul

Are you a Kpop photocard collector visiting South Korea in the near future? Then make sure to visit these 3 shops in Hongdae to secure photocards, photocard albums, photocard holders and much more!

1. AK Plaza Market

There is an alleyway between AK Plaza and Daiso Hongik University 2 that hosts a small market where you can find different knickknacks, from handmade jewellery to souvenirs. There you can also find a stall that sells Kpop photocards. The price depends on the photocard but if you are tight on cash or want to test your luck, you can participate in a lucky draw. For 3,000 KRW you can draw a piece of paper that will decide which photocard you get. I got Changbin for the Stray Kids pull and Jaemin for an NCT pull. 🙂

💡TIP: They only take cash.

📍 LOCATION: If you are coming to Hongdae with an underground, take exit 4 at Hongik University station and turn sharp right so you are looking at the alleyway and the main street is on your right. You should now be able to see stalls lining up along the road.

2. Play Duk

Just across the street from AK Plaza you can find this next gem, Play Duk store. This shop has photocards of multiple groups on display for sale but they also sell albums and some other merch. They also have a few tables set up where I saw people do photocard trades.

💡TIP: Search for Peulleideok on Naver maps

📍 LOCATION: Peulleideok, 147-7 Donggyo-dong Mapo-gu, Seoul

3. Ducky World

Whilst this shop does not sell photocards, it sells everything else you need for them. Here you can find four isles filled with cute photocard holders in every animal shape possible and photocard albums. They are open every day from 10 am to 10 pm. They recently relocated so make sure to check the new location written below.

📍 LOCATION: Ducky World 서울 마포구 와우산로29길 60 1층
